Pouches

This is the fabric I picked for my STLMQG pouch swap. I hope my secret swap partner likes it.

*************************************************
Here are a few of my practice pouches.................

I found this on the STLMQG freebie table a few months back. Can you believe someone was giving this fabric away? I love the black & white fabric with the little yellow birds. Does anyone know where I can find some more? This was made using Skip to my Lou's pleated pouch pattern.

This pouch was made using Trillium Designs pattern Audrey Bag. This is just a pattern not a tutorial so you will need some basic pouch making skills for this one but it is really easy. Tip: Since the top of the bag is curved it helps to clip the zipper tape to make the curve. I also reduced the pattern to make it more pouch size.

Another one made with the same pattern. See the group photo for the other side.

This fabric came from the freebie fabric mentioned above. The Snappy Coin Purse was made using this pattern from Sew Timeless.

And a group shot of all the pouches.

Note to secret swap partner (just in case you are stalking my blog). Don't stress over this swap keep it simple. My favorite colors are green & blue but as you can see from above that I also love the black & white print.

I love all these Jackie! How fun!
I was the one who left the yellow and black! =) They were leftovers from some baby gift sewing (friends nursery was yellow/black). I am 99% sure I bought all the fabric at Jackmans on the IL side, but that was surely almost three years ago.

Yes how could they give it away, but that is your benefit! Very cute purses.

Jackie, what great pouches. I love the colors you've chosen and the styles you've been making.

I love all of your pouches! Love that bird fabric too, but I can't help you out on the name.
