Floor cushion

I have another project completed that I forgot to blog about. I used this tutorial found on Living with punks website.

I am very happy with the way it turned out. The piping wasn't scary at all and really makes the cushion. I wish I could find more of this fabric.

If you look real close you can see the zipper I added so no hand sewing was used on this project, you got to love that! This should make it easy to wash if needed and we know that is probable going to be needed with a little boy around. I stuffed it with batting remnants that seem to multiply around my house.

One last picture of the handle.

Quilts for kids -6

Swim, Bike, Quilt

I know this is another Quiltmaker pattern but I couldn't locate the pattern. I will add it when I come across it.

He really isn't standing here he is leaning on the wall.

It looks like he is tap dancing here.

And here....

That's all for now, I hope the grand baby wasn't too distracting. You were looking at the quilt, right?

This quilt is being donated to 100 Quilts for Kids with the St. Louis Modern Quilt Guild's Fall charity Project

Quiltmaker pattern Super-sized nine patch.

My quilt model is getting a little distracted here.

And showing off his new skill of standing. Don't worry his Mommy was right by him.

Quiltmaker pattern Super-sized nine patch.

When you need to get some quilt pictures with a 8 month old in the house it is just as easy to include him than to distract him. And since I couldn't pick just one you get to see them all.

Triangle Toss

Triangle Toss quilt top from the May/June McCall's Quilting. Not all my points are as nice as I would like them to be, I think paper piecing may be the way to go with this one for me. I can't wait to start quilting it!

Margarita Sunrise quilt

I started a new commissioned quilt last night. All the Hoffman Bali Batiks are from Batiks Plus. You can get this free pattern from the Hoffman Fabrics website.

Bali pop strips all matched up ready to sew! Love the bright colors in the Mango Margarita Bali Pop.

I will be doing some pressing tonight. I have half of the strips sewn to the 1895 Gardenia (one of my favorite batiks to use).

❤Have I mentioned that I love using BlogPress to blog from my iPad!❤
