Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt
I finished the Grandmother's Flower Garden (GFG) quilt this past weekend. The customer didn't have enough blocks to make a traditional GFG so she can up with this setting. Next time I see a few GFG blocks at a antique shop I might have to just bring them home with me and use this idea.

I like it with the alternate blocks. It really showcases the flowers instead being overwhelmed with them.
So pretty! The 9-patches really frame the flowers nicely.
Did you quilt this by machine or by hand. Am working on 4 throws for my aunts and uncles with hexs left to me by my grandmother, their mother. Thanks, and your quilt is beautiful.
