Batik Sunflower quilt

Just when I think I have enough things to do I start something new.

I finally cut into the Hoffman 884 Sunflower collection.

All cut and ready to start sewing. The quilt on the cover is the one I am going to make. It is hard to tell but the strips are laying on what I am going to be using for the white 1985 Gardenia.

Batik Quilts

I have two more commissioned batik quilts completed. These were made with 6.5" die cut squares from Batiks Plus. Minkee was used for the backing.

Flower quilt

This is a customers quilt that I just finished, she loved the quilt. Lots of leafs and swirls. Sorry the pictures are so bad. It is really hard to get good pictures on a cold winter day with little sunshine. Black on black quilting doesn't help either. You can click on the picture to see it a little larger.

Here's my progress so far. All of the strips have been sewn together. Now I'm ready to sew them into blocks now.

Superbowl Twist!

Is anyone doing the Superbowl Twist with Bonnie at Quiltville? I'm using my Sherbert Bali Pops for this. I have been wanting to do something with them for awhile now and this looks like a quick and easy pattern.
