Coin quilt

I made a little progress on the coin quilt. I have all the inside coins sewn together and I ready to work on the border. I'm thinking I need a smaller border and maybe a second border with one of the colored fabrics in the coins. What do you think? I'm going to go to the quilt store and see if they have yardage of this fabric.

Butterfly Fling

I opened the jelly roll of Butterfly Fling today and started playing with some options. A Chineese coin quilt.
And a variation of the coin.

This is the design that won. I'm making this one for my 2nd Grandaughter.

This is the quilt I make for the first Granddaughter. I wish you could feel all the Minkee on the animals.

Yellow and Blue quilt

This quilt was pieced by my MIL and quilted by me. This is one of the first custom quilts that I did. This was quilted on June 2008.

Trip Around the World

I just finished this Trip Around the World quilt. This is a customers quilt that she started about 20 years ago and finally finished it. I think she did a great job! It is quilted with an edge to edge design called Popcorn by Willow Leaf Design Studio. This is a great edge to edge design that looks great on any quilt.

Stars with floral centers

This is another customer's quilt. This is from the same piecer that did O' Christmas tree quilt. It is quilted with leafs.
