Fringe Quilt

I just completed quilting a commisioned quilt for Batiks Plus.  It was made with Hoffmans new Fringe Studio Batiks and screen prints.

Blocks complete! I hope to get the setting triangles cut this week. A lot of playing with this little guy, not much sewing time.

Margarita Sunrise quilt

I started a new commissioned quilt last night. All the Hoffman Bali Batiks are from Batiks Plus. You can get this free pattern from the Hoffman Fabrics website.



Bali pop strips all matched up ready to sew! Love the bright colors in the Mango Margarita Bali Pop.




I will be doing some pressing tonight. I have half of the strips sewn to the 1895 Gardenia (one of my favorite batiks to use).

Stir Crazy - Quilt blocks

Stir Crazy quilt blocks sewn together and ready for the borders to be added.

Take 5 - quilt top

I have the top completed and ready to quilt! It measures 72 1/2 X 95 1/2.

Take Five - batiks

I got to play around with some Hoffman batiks! Take five blocks on the design wall.

New Bali Pops are coming!

I just saw the new Bali Pops over at Batiks Plus Blog. I love them all but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the green tea collection!

Batik Quilts

I have two more commissioned batik quilts completed. These were made with 6.5" die cut squares from Batiks Plus. Minkee was used for the backing.

This is the 6 1/2" batik squares finished and ready to be delivered to the customer. The backing is Minkee fabric.

Hoffman Batiks!

I took a little break from quilting to sew some 6 1/2" batik squares together for a throw.

Batik Fabric

These are some of the great Hoffman batiks that I got from Batiks Plus. I also got the 884 Sunflower quarter collection. My DH gave me a gift certificate to Batiks Plus for our anniversary. Now I just need to find some time to do some sewing for myself. I also have all of the Bali pops but I haven't been able to bring myself to cutting them up yet.
