Old Tobacco Road

I have my fabric cut! I am going to use these plain homespun fabrics. I cut muslin to go with them but didn't like how bla they looked.

So I picked out some more plaid homespun to go with them. I think I like this a lot better. Sorry about the flash in the photo. I'm not sure if I'm going to put the browns/earth tones with them or something else for the 3 1/2" strips. After tonight I will be behind on the mystery so I might wait and see what the other color is used for before I decide. If you are doing the mystery leave me a comment so I can get your link to follow your progress on your blog. If your aren't doing the mystery you can still leave me a comment. I love to read all the comments you leave me.

O' Christmas Tree

This quilt was pieced by M. It is a sample quilt for Rasberry Patch Quilt Shop in Cottleville, MO. The pattern is O' Christmas Tree by Bee Creative Studio's. It is custom quilted with swirls and an Ivy border. You can click on the pictures to enlarge.

Julie's Jewels

This is a quilt that I designed using fat quarters. My DD picked out the Hoffman Batik fabric. It is quilted with an edge-to-edge design called Linda's Curly Feather.

String quilt - QOV

This is a string quilt that I recieved to quilt for QOV. I quilted it with an edge to edge design called Feelin' Groovy by Michelle Wyman & Terri Watson from willowleaftstudio.com

Pond Visitor

Look at this cute pond visitor that came to visit my pond. I like this visitor a lot better than the two water snakes that came to visit earlier this year. No pictures of the water snakes I don't get close enough to them for pictures.

Carolina Crossroads - Quilted!

I have my Carolina Crossroads quilted and bond! Yeah! It is quilted with Contemporary Baptist Fan using my Quilt-EZ templates.

Hello Kitty Tote

I couldn't stop with just one! I made another one today. This one is going to DD so I should be able to keep the poka dot one now. At 18 she is still a big Hello Kitty fan.

I do have the binding on the Carolina crossroads quilt and I will be taking it to Quilt club Monday night to start the hand stitching to the back. I promise to get a picture of the completed quilt soon.

Summer Tote

I took a break from quilting and made this tote. It was made from a Lazy Girl Designs pattern #122 Summer Tote. It was very quick and easy to make. I did all the cutting and sewing today! The fabric I used was an outdoor type canvas so it is very sturdy. I hope to get it filled up with some of my stuff before DD takes possession of it.

I did finish quilting my Carolina Crossroads and I'm hoping to get the binding added tommorrow.

Carolina Crossroads - Ready to quilt!

I have my Carolina Crossroads quilt loaded on the Gammill and I'm ready to start quilting. Yeah! I'm going to get to quilt a quilt for myself.

Snapshots - border added

I have the border added to the Snapshots quilt top. I ended up using a Hoffman Batik fabric, 1895 - Garnet.
