Fringe Quilt

I just completed quilting a commisioned quilt for Batiks Plus.  It was made with Hoffmans new Fringe Studio Batiks and screen prints. 

 

 

 

 

Last quilt of 2011 - finished

Here is the last quilt of 2011. I wasn't sure I was going to get it finished before the year was up. This is a customers quilt that likes lots of feathers. Quilting feathers makes me procrastinate big time, I'm fine once I get started but getting started takes some time. Is it just me?.


I love how it turned out. The back looks like a whole cloth quilt too!

Feathered Wreath quilt - Completed!

I completed the Feathered wreath quilt this weekend! I didn't have any quilt holders to get a good picture and I was in a hurry to get it back to the customer so she could sew the binding on.A little bit closer.
I messed with the photo settings so you could see the quilting a little better. It really is purple and green not the colors you are seeing here.

Feathered Wreaths

Wow! Feathered wreaths take awhile to do. I have all of the feathered wreaths quilted in the pinwheel blocks and all the ruler work completed on the other blocks and the border. On to the solid purple blocks now.

Nine Patch Quilt

I'm back! I have been busy with this custom quilt. Lots of feathered wreaths and a feathered border. The nine patch blocks were quilted with continuous curves.

I love the design on the back of the quilt!

30's quilt

This is a small quilt I did to practice marking a feather template. I have a larger version of this to quilt soon. I don't think I will be able to say I don't do feathers to much longer.
